Delivery & Shipping Costs
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the total weight of your order and your delivery address. Because mature tree peony crowns are substantial, bare-root plants that require specialized, protective packaging to ensure they arrive in pristine condition, our shipping rates reflect the care needed to transport them safely.

Please note: All autumn import orders are scheduled to ship in October 2026 once the crowns have cleared UK customs.
All orders are dispatched in October 2026, which is the absolute optimal biological window for planting mature, dormant bare-root crowns in British soil. You will receive an automated tracking link as soon as your package leaves our hands.
Currently, our exclusive 350-crown import allocation is strictly reserved for delivery addresses within the United Kingdom. Due to strict plant health and customs regulations, we cannot ship outside the UK at this time.
Your mature 3+ stem crowns are professionally packed in specialized, protective bare-root shipping boxes. Because they are dispatched during their dormant winter sleep, they travel incredibly well and arrive perfectly healthy, ready to hit the ground running.

Due to the robust, deep-rooting nature of Paeonia rockii, they thrive best when planted directly into garden borders or large, expansive estate containers with excellent drainage.
Yes, beautifully so. Paeonia rockii is legendary for its extreme frost hardiness. In fact, they require the British winter chill during their dormancy to trigger their massive, dinner-plate-sized blooms the following spring.
They prefer rich, fertile, well-draining soil with a neutral to slightly alkaline pH (6.5–7.5). If you have heavy clay, we recommend digging a wide planting hole and blending in plenty of grit and organic matter to guarantee excellent drainage.
